Welcome to Dartmouth.

Best undergraduate college experience in the world...

thanks for the replies...i thought i'd have not so great a shot considering my scores aren't stellar and my community service record is virtually zero. i was thinking of applying ed, but i just started looking into dartmouth and i still have to do more research to see if that's where i really want to go. I know this sounds kinda stupid, but one of my biggest concerns is the weather.. i live in south texas, actually one hour away from the southernmost point in the contiguous u.s., and its still 90F in the winter. cold to me is anything less than 70F!

My floor mate is from Taxas and he loves it so far!

You should be in. But if it doesn't turn out well, the admissions office does quirky things that don't make a lot of sense.
