Schools in interest: Dartmouth, Yale, Princeton, Northwestern, UPenn, JHU, Stanford, Brown, UCB, UCLA, UCSD, WUSTL, Cornell, Columbia

Prospective major: Biomedical Technology or Neuroscience

Wow, your academic stats are pretty good!!! If you can get that 2200+ on the SAT, it'll be a major + in admissions for you. I agree with you about retaking Chem Sat II and am intrigued by your AP Scores. If I were you, I would aim for national AP scholar next year (self studying AP Enviro in the precess) so as to add to my list of awards. However, you should focus on getting some 5s on your exams as erll, considering where you are applying. Overall, Yale, Princeton, UPenn, Stanford, Brown, and Columbia are likely to be reaches but I think that you have a realistic shot, provided that you get your 220o on the SAT, at most of your other schools, at gaining admission to many of these schools. Also, I am no great piano player myself, but maybe you should record yourself playing the third movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (My favorite!!!)!!!! That would definitely impress admissions, lol!!! Good luck!!

I luv Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata too... i'll also add some songs by Chopin as well.

Chopin is way too hard my my level of playing........

lol you think that will impress the admissions officers?

bumppppppp

bump it up once more

Dude!
Amazing job so far. I'm an upcoming junior as well, and my academics are a piece of junk compared to yours.
If you're doing the sciences, you might also want to try the subject olympiads (I just learned about them, actually, and my school offers Bio, so it's good).
Other than that, it's the basic advice of focus your ECs so as to concentrate on depth as opposed to a huge list of stuff.
Man, that is a pretty kick-ass GPA.

thnx... i just need to get SAT out of the way

sigh

must keep this thread alive.

btw im thinking about doing EA for Stanford

Bumppppppppppppppppp
