so I just found out that the CEEB Code is required. The problem is my school doesn't have one and I had to email Pton. But they're on holiday, right? and they won't reply my email until they return to the office on Jan 3rd or 4th. And I'm doom :(( I can't understand why I have been so careless :(

hey, you just leave it blank!

i'm sending tom for a couple of jan 1 schools too. i dont expect my app to be turned back, but if that's what going to happen, so be it. i'm not sending till i'm satisfied.

but it's required. and I think I can't submit till every required box is filled

fill in 0000 :p

come on. they know not many intls got ceeb codes

i emailed princeton requesting for the CEEB code for my school in august.
the reply came at the end of November.

allyssa: really? awful
Ok, so I will fill 0000 and send an email to explain
thnx, you guys

just leave it blank for pete's sake! international schools rarely have their own CEEB codes, and you'll look ridiculous if you make a ginormous deal out of it. if you don't have a code, obviously just put N/A (not applicable). they won't defer you over it. trust me.

i've asked this on other threads before, but no replies.....
i sent commonapp online and supplement by mail, am i screwed?

if i were you i'd send the supplement online ASAP and THEN email them about your situation. Shouldn't be too much of a hassle

i agree..000000. come on, common sense if your school doesn't have one

you can even tell them in the "additional information" field and don't even worry about the email

umm yeah, i told you to put the 0's in jest

HEY WAIT.

I read somewhere that you fill in 699-999 (MIT) or 899-999 (ACT registration).....

Because I filled that and so my school is now listed as "HS IN INDIA" rather than the name I filled in. Try googling to be double sure the codes I gave are correct.

Good luck!

MS, I am looking for someone who would like to proofwatch my lecture for undergrad students on Video... Would like to see it?

I really do not know If I should send it in... :/
And no one can tell me here.

jpsi, I don't really know... how big is the file? Because i'm on a cdma connection (only slightly faster than dialup).

Aha. It depends on the quality.
From 212Mbytes, to 1.99 mb. You can take it when you go to school, for instance.
I have problems with my web account on czacki.edu.pl, which is the only which would handle big files.

I am still considering sending it... And I am going to continue deliberation until mid-january :).

i emailed them, but do you think they'd want to rcv two exact copies of the app? i read on anotehr university's site (not princeton) that doing so will cause serious delays.

so now it's a real problem. I can't fill 0000. The app requires to me use the look up tool. And if I don't fill in the box, I can't submit. What can I do now? Only a half day to go :( :(

MIT told me to left it blank, and write school name, and send soem additional information about school.

I'm using Pton app, not the common one. In common app, CEEB code isn't required

Do whatever... and then call them to refine.
