I thought this only happened in 'Tornado Alley' (the midwest)? Darn...and I was going to practice driving too. Lame.

Anyone else in stormy weather?

Anyone else in stormy weather?

No, not really stormy weather. It’s overcast and has been raining a bit, but that’s it so far.

But I’m one of those weird people who enjoy storms and rain. Sun is overrated, give me a good snowstorm any day.

Be safe!!! It was thundering and lighting and raining here bad last night, I’m in the Southeast.

nope although it does seem like its gonna rain today. but an airport that i live near next to had a false bomb threat yesterday.

It’s all sun and shine here!
Hope that tornado doesn’t make an appearance where you are, but if it does, film it.

It’s gorgeous here. If my niece stops acting like a crazy girl, I might take her to the park.

Don’t worry too much. We get tornados here all the time and they’re rarely that bad. A lot of East Coasters freak about them. My mother’s from there so she still gets more agitated about them than most people. Just stay out of rooms with a ton of glass.

we’ve had stormy weather for about a few weeks now. when it’s not raining, it’s just really humid.
but we get tornado warnings/watches all the time, so…

An EF-4 tornado touched down just north of my daughter’s dorm complex last June, cut a swath right through the middle of her university campus and did $20 million in damage in less than five minutes. She’s in Kansas, but it was the first tornado to hit that part of the state in 40 years. Fortunately, they had warning that it was coming and no one was injured. She was not on campus at the time.

Lol, OP, you brought your weather over here.

Illinois=clear… by what I can see. Luckily…

I live in eastern VA. For the past three weeks, we’ve had horrible thunderstorms.

Three weeks ago, a storm had a tornado that ripped trees down in our yard.

Last week, we had a storm with horrible winds that knocked down more trees.

This week, we’ve had thunderstorms every evening. It’s dark and stormy right now actually, and it’s probably storming a few miles away from where I am.

VA. We have the weirdest weather patterns… >>

Heh, I’ve lived in Kansas for 7 years, and the closest I ever was to a tornado was on a visit to St. Paul MN… figures…

I’ve lived in Kansas the majority of my life & never seen a tornado until I was in Texas.

I’m sorry about that…not the weather but where you are. Must be tough.

:)

I heard intense lightning earlier today. Maybe I should check the news.

Maybe I should build a tornado/storm shelter.

which side?’ ive seen them be4…pretty pointless unless you get attacked by zombies

Yayyyy! How’d you like those thunderstorms lol. We got hit around 12:30 EST.

NJ’s been acting weird this summer.

^^^this summer is better than weeks of heat waves lol(well at least june was)

heat waves? thunderstorms? where do you guys live in new jersey? lol. I’m up north and i’ve heard like one pretty massive strike of lightening today, nothing too serious.
