I'm looking for a roomie!

Any girls out there planning on living in Jennings for Summer B?!?!?!

you should be careful, there might be a pedophile going to UF

(or Ana might be one j/k)

Well my first choice is Fletcher but if I cant get in there then I wouldnt mind Jennings or Graham for summer. I wouldnt mind being your roomate, I would have a random one anyways.

for randomness, i'd choose the preference system where you get a roomie thats more adequate to your liking

I'm actually now considering Hume for the Summer B. I have a very early priority day, and these dorm have a great location. There is also a parking garage by the dorms and the rooms are for 4 people and have two bathrooms!

The good and the bad:

Summer B Dorms
Hume: Not very close to classes. Most likely be taken the bus to class. Parking for freshmen is great over there. ~90-95% freshman. Some of the kids are wild alcohol, partying everyday, marijuana. Bathroom are cleaned once a week and its 1 shower/ 4 residents.

Murphree Area: Generally upperclassmen, but a lot of freshmen during summer B. Not designed to be as social as some of the other area because of how its set-up. Great if you are more of a studious student. The amount of drinking and drugs/marijuana is far less than jennings and hume. You will not find parking as a freshmen around murphree area. Very close to classes. Bathrooms are cleaned M-F (2shower stalls/ ~4-9 residents).

Jennings: ~98% freshmen. Majority female (5.5 floors are girls and 2.5 are guys). A LOT of partying, drinking, and some drugs/marijuana. Between Hume and Murphree in closeness to classes. Freshmen parking is available but there is a little walk to the parking garage. Bathrooms are cleaned M-F (6 stall/ ~46-50 residents)

Thanks ASMAJ!!!

Is there a bus stop near Hume?...and if you don't mind, can
you explain to me how the bus system works around campus?

:)

I heard Broward is like Jennings, any comments on that ASMAJ. Another thing what do you think about the Graham area.

There is a bus stop right in front of hHme. There are bus routes that can take you to the mall, take you towards the McCarty hall ( i think its the Mallory dorm, its in front of, im not too sure though) which is near Turlington. It can take you to SW rec, the Hub, along stadium road, and some others. There is another bus stop across the street but the only difference is that Frat Row runs on that side only.
Oh and also busses that take you off campus (i.e. route 20) requires you to show a gator1 to ride for free or you have to pay a small fare (50 cents) But circulator routes(Frat Row, Park and Ride, etc) you dont need to present a gator 1 but I heard of instances where the bus driver made them show it, so just have it ready if need be.

Sorry asmaj, didnt mean to steal the question, so you can add anything to my response :).

Broward and Jennings are just alike. The only notable difference is that Jennings has noticeably more girls than guys. Great area for a freshmen, but hell for RA's. Graham is similar to the broward area but maybe a little less wild. Very social when I lived their. Graham Oasis is located downstairs and open til 2am, something broward doesn't have. Bus to classes, but can walk if you want to or have time. ALOT more parking for freshmen than Broward/Jennings. Graham area isnt a bad area if you ended up getting it. Its less selected because of the popularity of broward/jennings area but graham area is practically the same.

Its actually rawlings hall, not mallory. Everything else ufstudent said is on point. You should always have your ufid on you.
