I'm not entirely sure of what I should do next, a little advice would help.

Hello to everyone,

I'm new to this forum and I would like to thank you guys for actually reading this post if you are. I'm currently in a sticky situation where I honestly cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel. I put myself in this situation, but I need a little help getting out of it.

Background Info:

I'm a 19 year old looking to Transfer to a CSU or any State University to get a BS in Computer Science, targeted at Programming.

Here's what's going on:

I'm currently attending a California Community College. I went there straight from High School. I did pretty well during my first semester there getting away with a 30 GPA but the next semester I failed one class and got a D in an other. It's the next 2 semesters that became problematic for me.

Here's the Transcript:

Fall '12:
Japn 101 - Elementary Japanese: W
Math 141 - College Algebra: F
Hist 171 - US History II: F

GPA for Sem: 0.00
Cummulative GPA: 1.62

-Placed on Academic Suspension

Spring '13:
CIS 111 - Intro to CIS: C
CIS 211 - Intro to Programming: B
POSC 100 - Intro to Political Science: C
PHOT 101 - Intro to Photography: B
MATH 142 - Trigonometry: F

GPA for Semester: 1.87
Cummulative GPA: 1.70

-Placed on Academic Dismissal

At my College you're dismissed if you have a Cumm.GPA under 1.75 for two semesters in a row and I was .05 away from being placed back on suspension. I did horrible during my Fall '12 semester because I decided that taking 11 units, I can handle a job. I took a part time job and worked mostly during the weekends and 2-6hr shifts during the weekday. I didn't quit until halfway through my Spring semester because I knew that I'd rather concentrate on my education because it's more important.

I'm currently attending summer school to get my grade changed in both Math 141 and Math 142 classes. But I'm still counted as Dismissed from my college. I can Petition for Exception, but if I don't get approved, I don't know whether I should keep going to a Community College or if I should start looking into Private Universities.

If I'm readmitted, if I got Straight A's for then on would that compensate the horrible 2 semesters?

Thanks again for reading.
