Hi,
I have reasons for wanting to transfer, but I'm not sure if they are good enough. I'm at American University in Washington, DC. I feel like I should be going to a better school because everyone here looks down upon AU. My classes are really, really easy and I wanted to go somewhere where I would be challenged by the work. Also, the social atmosphere is not at all what I expected, it seems like all people want to do it party. In addition, the more I think about it, the more I want to be closer to home, which is in upstate NY. I was hoping you could help me. Do you think these are good enough reasons to transfer? Sorry for the long post.
Thanks,
Ashley

They seem like good reasons, but you've got plenty of time before you have to decide. If you're still not sure by December, go ahead and apply. After all, you can always stay at American if you want to. That's what I'm doing because I'm still not sure about transferring.
