I'm posting this with Linux. It has a penguin!!!!!

Hey, I'd appreciate if some of you would chance me for

Carnegie Mellon
JHU
Harvey Mudd (top choice probably)
Dartmouth
MIT
Cornell
U. Rochester

I have safeties and all, but these are the colleges that I think are really super awesome.

White/Mexican male at New England boarding school.

GPA: 3.29 (improving trend, something like 2.85 - 3.0 - 3.35 - 3.33 with much harder classes)

SAT: 2120, 2130 superscore 710 M 700 CR 720 W
SAT 2: Physics 700, Math II 800

AP's

Sophomore: BC Calc - A, 5
Junior: APUSH - B, 4; AP Physics C - B+, 5, 4
Senior: AP Euro - A-; AP Lit - B+; AP Bio - B; AP Statistics; AP Chem; AP Economics

Other courses:
Multivariable Calc, Junior year
Topology (independent study 12th grade)
Linear Algebra (started before 11th grade, continuing it this semester cuz I don't have much work)

All of the other courses are pretty standard.

EC's:
--Singing (Tenor in Choir, District Chorus, and an auditioned singing group) since 10th grade.
--Guitar (self-taught) (I compose stuff, I sent in a composition supplement which I thought was pretty good); I did this on and off for a while, but got serious about it in 11th grade
--Cross-Country and Track (better at Cross) since 9th grade; I coached myself in 11th grade and ran a 16:40 5K. I got swine flu in 12th grade.
--Debate Team since 9th grade
--Wrestling in 12th grade; Just wanted to try it before graduation. My school's got a really good program

Summer stuff:
Training for Cross, worked at a restaurant this past summer

Essays were nice, I wrote this passionate essay about the importance of art (in this case, music) in understanding our own happiness. It was well-thought-out and all,

Oh yeah and awards
Coach's Award in Cross Country 11th grade
Prize in Multivariable Calculus 11th grade
Prize in Sophomore English 10th grade

And...I've been put on probation twice, Freshman year and Sophomore year. Middle of Freshman year for fighting, middle of Sophomore year for accumulated concerns, no fighting, just not getting along with some kids in the dorm. And singing too loud in the hallways. IGot my **** together, though, and I wrote in the statements that I just learned to be more considerate as I matured..
