please for anybody out there who has input.i know it sounds like a cliche and i dont wont to sound like one of those indecisive kids.im so stuck in the middle on what college to attend in the fall.im a transfer student with a 3.5 uc gpa.I got accepted to uc riverside and uc santa barbara.i love both schools and both schools are world class.im majoring in accounting.and work very hard. my goals include a ba in accounting,mba,and possibly a dba or phd.both these schools can do that.i must add that uc riverside will have a med school in 2012 and uc santa barbara does not.please help.thanks

The way your message was written is very annoying in my opinion, but it might just be because I’m old. I find it difficult to understand when you don’t put a space after your punctuations and that you do not capitalized anything. That’s okay for text messages, but please make an effort on your social media etiquette.

In terms of your long term goals of a graduate degree, you have to realize that it really doesn’t matter which UC campus you attend for your undergraduate credentials as long as you maintain and strong GPA (especially your major GPA, not just cumulative, you can’t take 10 P.E. classes in hopes that 10 A’s would help boost the C you got in Accounting 146)! Also start studying for the GRE early on! Getting a masters degree will cost at least $80,000 for tuition, start looking for grants and scholarships. Best bet is to find a company that will pay for your education as long as you promised to work for them for another 3-5 years after you get your degree.

No thanks for the “advise”!your whats wrong with the forum community!I did not bother to capitilize nor use correct punctuation because I was so excited!I needed input from some of the more positive members of this forum.Oh!, yeah by the way you are old!And you cant spell either.So I ask again anybody out there except for sapipa177 have any input, it would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

lol castillo . sapipa is just telling you to be an intelligent human being and correctly talk and not be annoying like you are right now. rofl.

@ocastillo3, MAN UP!

@naixn92: agreed!

Thank you to all of you who backed me up!

There are so many things wrong with your reply back to me that I’m starting to doubt you will succeed the way you’d imagined.

Common spelling errors will happen, I usually state that prior to a long message because I know I will not double check. What I was hinting to you is that the way you write will undoubtedly carry over to your carrier if you don’t start correcting it. For example:

Advise vs. Advice
Your vs. You’re

These are common mistakes not because of typos (which is what I usually have). I’m guessing you typed these because you don’t know the difference and that is sad. If you are going to attempt to insult someone’s spelling errors you really should make those words perfect.

I re-read what I wrote to you and believe I gave you some useful inputs and I urge you to look into it. I’m by no means an intelligent man, but I have the educational experience and work experience that you do not yet have. I WAS not trying to put you down in any way, just an honest nudge in the right direction.

Um…

carrier vs. career

I hate it when the word processor spell checks but does not meaning check.

ahhh, touch

I would like to apoligize to you sir.I did not appreciate you calling me annoying nor the way you came off on me.I do know how to spell and use grammer.or maybe you would like to point me to a good grammer school.I will choose my school on my own.Thank you very much…sorry for asking and to take anymore of your time=)

Hahaha OP got pwned!

why would uc riverside having a med school matter ?
