I'm freaking out.

Every school that I wanted to go to, I got in (no ivies, sorry guys, I'm just a normal kid.) but I only received scholarships at my safety's and I don't really want to go to any of them!

My top choices are Boston University, but I haven't been there (going this weekend, didn't think I'd get in) and I received NO money.

University of Miami - which I loved, but I didn't get any money to so that stinks.

Or Penn State - University Park, which I really loved when I toured, but it's so cold! (I'm originally from NY, but I now live in AZ and my parents are moving to Pittsburgh (Far from State College) after I graduate!)

I'm so overwhelmed, I cannot possibly make any decision. My parents can afford to pay for Boston or Miami, but I know that it's going to take all their savings to do so basically....

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ azsummer

You should visit Penn State and see what the campus is like. If you do not like it, you can ask Boston Univ for a better financial aid package. Petition it by telling the university you received a better financial aid offer.

Congrats on your acceptances!

At least Pittsburg is closer to State College than AZ.

I personally think it's stupid for you or your parents to go into tons of debt for an undergraduate degree.

Will Penn State be a lot cheaper than the other choices?
If so, I would choose Penn State.

Well, my parents have enough money to pay for college, they have offered to pay 100%. However, I know that for two years, my father's bonus will pay for school.

I'm thinking Miami because although I liked Penn, I'm worried about internships during the year (because it's so rural) and for BROADCAST Journalism, it's not excately a "hub" for that sort of thing.

At Miami I can go right in front of the camera immediately. I'm more of a hands on learner so i'm thinking Miami may just be a better fit for me as far as that goes.

I think Boston may be too uppity for mytastes.

Anyone have any advice? Thanks!

Penn State has great internship opportunities. The weather is not great, but everyone loves Happy Valley.

First, I have to say that if you weren't willing to go to your safeties they were not safeties, just extra applications. But having said that, if your parents are willing to pay and you feel the best at Miami, then go. Your reasons seem pretty good.

NEVER call Penn State Penn.
