<p>ok i didn't know there was an optional essay for tufts until today, and you cannot submit it online. so i am just sending it on tues when the post office re-opens... how does this letter sound?</p>

<p>Enclosed is my optional essay and photograph. I would like to apologize for the late delivery; I did not realize until this morning that the optional essay could not be submitted online. I am very interested in attending Tufts University, and I hope that this will not have an impact on your decision. </p>

<p>i believe that the app is due today, but what they call "supporting credentials" are not due until the 10th. that's what it said on their website.</p>
