I took the SAT my freshman year because i was stupid and got a 1190. i took the New one in March and got 2070. Then, i took it in June and got 2180 (700, 770, 710)

im planning on taking it again in oct. but i heard stuff like colleges averaging scores if you took it more than 3 times and stuff like colleges dont care how much you take it. BLAH. i need the truth. Does the old SAT count as one of the three times? or can my future october score count as the 3rd time?

or.......do i even need to take the da mn thing again?

.

apparently the averaging thing is a rumor. I still don't know if taking the old ones and the new ones both count as individual counts or all together. However, for schools that ONLY accept the new ones, the number of times you took the old ones do not count at all.
Your scores are very evenly distributed so that's good. if you want to retake it and you think you can do better, you could, but right now you are fine.

I think the old SAT stops counting after class of '06....not sure....but what grade are you going to be in?

is that 770 in writing?

no one is looking at the writing, sorry.

amnesia, how do you know that?
