i'm tooootally confused

okay, it's about the difference between online and paper submitting..i read all about the advantages of online applying..but can you tell me about a benefit of the paper one or a disadvantage of the online submitting because from what I read it seem to me that everyone thinks that online is the perfect method to apply..i have to send my forms in a week so I really need to decide which way to choose..by the way i'm an international student and I'm using fee waiver for application fee

Do apply online- its a lot better, you can access your application- see if everything is recieved or not etc etc.
Also it costs less as you won't be mailing the application and some colleges waive fees if you apply online.
About the fee waiver thing- i am also slightly confused about it- i am sending a fee waiver application on the school letter head along with all the forms stuff. But since i'll be sending my forms on monday, i am not sure if they'll reach the colleges and be uploaded by the time of the deadline.
Can someone please clear this.............

I personally liked doing everything by paper.

I'm just one of those people that tends not to trust computers though. I like the idea of being able to hold something as important as a college application in my hand.
However, if you're comfortable with computers, use the online applications, it tends to be cheaper, and is easier than actually handwriting everything for certain people.

jakem333, I totally agree with you..It seems more put in order for me if I am doing it by paper. Also, if I put myself into the position of someone who is viewing the applications, I think it will be much easier for me to look at everything at once, than reviewing smth online and waiting for the aditions to come by paper mail who knows when.

Ummmm ^ that really does not happen.
whatever you send is scanned and uploaded on a computer and then the adcoms view your application when everything is complete.
but apply on paper by all means if you like it but make sure you do it fast because it takes them lot of time to sort the stuff, etc etc

since ur international, its best u do online in case ur papers get lost coming here or something

yeah ok but how to deal with fee waiver online ?

send it ith your reccomendations and other forms

so I'll be able to submit the online application without paying the fee?
