Impact of senior grades??

I screwed up big time in junior year and now my GPA is a bit less than 3.7... so I'm wondering how important senior grades are to colleges, in comparison to the other grades (freshman, sophomore, junior). comments would be appreciated :(

bump, somebody please respond… :(

Depends on college:

Slim majority, including most public universities, base admission decisions on grades through junior year and do not use senior year grades to determine admission; they are used only to determne whether your admission should be withdrawn after you are admitted.

Large minority, including your high ranked private universities, require you to submit mid-senior year grades after you apply and they are used and are important for determining admission, unless you apply early action or early decision in which case grades through junior year are used and a small number ask for first quarter senior year grades.

Don’t apply ED or EA which would preclude your senior grades from being considered.

Yeah, I’m planning on applying RD to boost up my grades and retake the SATs.
