Impact of study abroad programs on Law School admission

Will taking a year or semester abroad help or hinder a law school admit. I appreciate everyone's opinion but would like to hear from people with experience with this in particular.

I don't know - I'm studying abroad for a year myself. I think it would depend if you were just goofying off or doing something worthwhile. I can't see it really hurting anyway.

Do you mean as an undergrad, or as a gap year?

I'd like to know the impact on law school admission of a study abroad program during the undergraduate years. Would a co-op or internship abroad be viewed any differently than taking classes?

They can't really tell you studied abroad because grades from classes taken abroad are automatically transferred to your undergrad school's transcript. At least that's how it works for most schools.
