I have an alright GPA, 6 APs (all passed), and great ECs. But my SAT is a 2010 (CR-630, M-700, W-680) and my ACT is a 31. But through two sittings, I've managed a 35 in English, 33 in math, 32 in reading, 11 in writing, and sadly a 28 in science. My essays have gotten me far enough to be a Questbridge prep scholar. Do you think I can make it to ivies? Be brutally honest.

Anyone? As desperate as I sound…

It’s hard to know without more detail…your SAT score is really weak (try retaking!)…post your grades and examples of EC’s or at least a more specific GPA, that’ll help us be able to make a better assessment of the strength of your application.
message me if you add more info, I’ll take another look! :D

What is your ethnicity?

2010 isn’t “really” weak, that’s a statement since he isn’t far off for the lower ivys. Most kids would dream for a 2010

I was intending on retaking the SAT, but I wanted to do the subject tests. My GPA is over 4.0, straight As, no A-s or anything. And my ethnicity-I’m from Lebanon so Middle-Eastern which isn’t white, but that’s what I’m classified as. I’ll make a list of EC in a bit

omg im lebanese too! do you know if ethnicity would help us? sorry that I asked a question on your post… But I can tell you that your SAT score is low for ivies. However, you can compensate for great ecs and a great GPa which you already seem to have. HAving a low SAT score will not take you out of the running. Just write a great essay and that could change everything

Yes, but 2010 is very weak for the ivies; it could very well be low enough to kill his application (if not for the ACT). Most competitive applicants have a middle 2200 or higher.

ACT isn’t bad though, but DEFINITELY retake it.

I think I need to clarify something: I’m a girl. Haha I’ve been referred to as a guy a lot I’ve noticed.

Also, should I just bring up my ACT and discard the SAT altogether? I’ll do the subject tests that most require. And to be honest, I’m not really shooting for the ivies. It’s more like higher reach colleges like Stanford.

Oh, and I don’t know if being Lebanese helps. I wish it did, but like I said, we’re just “white” when it comes to apps. Not that it’s bad, just not very indicative of who we are.
