Implications of putting "Work (Paid)" for freelance job on Common App?

Hey, quick question. My #1 activity on my Common Application is my freelance electronics repair business. Its managed to substitute a conventional job since my freshman year, so I'd say its just about as good as one for me in terms of finances..

I just don't know if there will be any financial implications of that? Will any scholarship opportunities (ones that I'm "automatically eligible for" when applying certain universities) be affected by whether or not I had a job? Should I just treat it as an extracurricular and put "Computers/Technology" as the category. Any other comments?

Thanks!
Michael

Financial aid/scholarships are generally not determined by the activities on your application, but rather separate applications/forms
