Imporatant question please help!

can I get M.arch and become a liscensed architect after recieving a degree in mathematics??

and how wise is this choice : BS in mathematics- MS civil eng (i’m not sure if it’s a MS or BS) - and then M.arch
It’s going to take alot of years but is it worth it?

I need to make a decision by the end of this week!
I appreciate your quick replies …

Figure two years worth of prerequisites for MS Civil Eng, maybe a semester or two less if you take as electives during math. Then 2 years for the MS CE itself, and another 3 minimum for M.Arch. So, NS Math + MS CE and M.Arch looks like 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 = 10 years.

BS Math would be useful in the structural engineering side of things (stuff that kept me up all night) but not very useful in architecture (does anyone teach a formal class in Descriptive Geometry any more?). if 10 years of college does not deter you go for it :-)

I spent 14 years in college, 8 full and 6 part time, no big deal.
