Hey everyone. I have a question. Friday I'm taking my first AP test in United States History and I have a few questions. Really what is the importance of them decides placing out of the class in college. In admissions do they see your scores? If you get a 1 or a 2 what happens? Will I not get credit for taking the course?

the importance is higher placement (i.e. u skip the freshman part of the course, or u just take a more advanced one in college) u decide which scores u want to put in ur application (i.e. if u get a 2 in a test then u dont have to show it to the colleges but its like wasting money) if u get a 1 or 2 u dont get any credit (it highly depends on the college u choose)

If you take multiple AP tests can u chose to put the scores from one of the tests but not the scores from another test on your score report?

I believe they only see your scores if you choose to send the scores to them. But if you choose to send it sends all of your scores. So if you got all 1's and a 5, then they see them all if I recall correctly.

The importance to me is 1 year of college. My school gives graduation credit for AP's. Each test is worth atleast $1500 to me.

Now is not the time to worry about the AP test. You should have been doing that and (hopefully) working hard to get a good grade on the exam. I wish I would have bought a princeton review or 5 steps to a 5 at the begining of the year and worked through it. To late now, what I know is what I know. It will come out tommarow, I can't help it anymore. I am off to review some rhetorical devices, settle my affairs to make tomarrow morning easier, and then I am off to bed.

Good Luck!

So do your AP scores have an influence at all in terms of college admissions?
