the importance of APs?

<p>so I know APs are kinda expected these days as a way to demonstrate one's taking academic challenges (similar to honors courses and etc)</p>

<p>but really, how much do the actual TESTS matter in terms of admissions? are they in a way treated like SAT2s? or are they mostly just for getting course placement/credit</p>

<p>No the admissions doesn't care about the AP test unless you bombed them all (i.e: a 1).</p>

<p>However, you don't need to report any of the exam scores. They may never know what you got on any of your exams if you don't want them to.</p>
