I'm looking at the University of Miami for their BS/MD program. My question is, even if I'm a competitive applicant in many regards, do I have any chance of getting in with no research experience?

Research can be what pushes you over the line from maybe to yes. In my case, research was how I actually got my interviews and acceptances since while I was competitive academically, the research I did made me stand out enough to be seen.

I think it depends on the program you’re looking at. RPI is very research heavy but other programs focus more on clinical experience.
