<p>Is the SAT really important for applying to colleges?</p>

<p>Is it unheard of or abnormal for someone to be thinking to go to city college for two years then transfer or university college like the UCs? If this is my decision, will I have the choice to take the SAT while in city college?</p>

<p>If I go to city college for two years and then apply for better colleges, will they also look at my grades from city college?</p>

<p>How does a 680 SAT score in math sound like? Moderate or needs improvement?</p>

<p>firstly, what is a city college? is it like a community college? if so then you can transfer to UC’s after taking the required amount of classes (which may take longer than 2 years)</p>

<p>They require a certain GPA when transferring and a test score (not the SAT) </p>

<p>680 in math depends on the school but generally I would say you need improvement. People usually score highest on the math I believe.</p>
