<p>I think if you have that tone it won't help you (i.e. "how to make me an easy admit.") For most schools you are allowed to send an update after you are deferred, but before sending the update there is nothing wrong with getting some input on your application from your admissions officer as to tailor your update to fill in any weaknesses as sufficiently as possible.</p>
