<p>Grades:
I currently completed 9th grade with a 3.5 GPA (A average)
I've taken English I Honors and Algebra I Honors this year.
In honors English I've maintained an A and in Algebra, I had a C the whole year :/ because the teacher graded me wrong and they refused to change the grade. </p>

People to People Student Ambassadors (Have been invited to partake in the travel program since 5th grade and I am now raising money to travel with them during the summer of 2011 or 2012.)
I was recently accepted into the Louisiana Girls Leadership Academy. There was a rigorous selection process. We had to create a resume including past extracurriculars (they were interested in leadership roles), current GPA, and an essay explaining why we wanted to be accepted. Only 40 girls in Louisiana who applied were accepted.
I plan on joining track next year</p>

<p>Volunteer Work:
Helping teachers around classroom
Grading teacher's papers
Tutoring classmates
In the process of creating a service organization for all girls next school year. (I'm aiming for all girls so I can do some events on girl empowerment)
In my student government club, we do various community service projects such as working with pre-k and kindergarten students, hold book drives, and visit the nursing home. </p>

<p>I haven't taken the ACT or SAT yet but I do plan to register for the ACT sometime soon.</p>

<p>Chance you for what? Unless I’m mistaken, I don’t see anything that you wanted to be chanced for…
Otherwise, it would be impossible to chance even if you did have a list of colleges.
Nothing that you have said so far is set, your schedule, your GPA, your ECs, and your test scores are all subject to change…
My advice is that you work on your GPA and continue working hard. You’re still a freshman, you still have time to worry about college during sophomore and junior year.</p>

Things can be a whole lot different 2 years later

<p>and i know that is may change but im just asking for an educated guess and wondering if it seems like im on the RIGHT PATH to attending spelman…as for as my EC’s are concerned, they wont change because you make a choice to be in them and im positive that i want to be involved in them. ive been in them for a long time so theres no point in leaving them now.</p>
