Important Question about blue book practise test!

Hi, does anyone have an opionion on how "real" the practice tests from the blue book are?

I got a raw score of 36 from the blue book recently (writing) and a 10 essay on the jan 07 sat. That gives me a 610-750 range.

On my Jan 07 sat, i got 510 for my writing as a score, does this mean that the blue book is not accurate or i improved?

Keep in mind i did time the sections.

I found the Blue book to be pretty accurate for WS MC ques, but if you want another measure, try the Online Course. There is a thread that shows you how to get it for free. Also, there are always people willing to trade or sell a recent SAT.

Did i improve then?

Blue book is as accurate as you can get.

Take a couple of exams, and then you can confidently say whether you improved or are just doing better when you are studying by yourself at home in a comfortable enviornment.
