How much do colleges look at the SAT essay? Will they notice if I used an example that is a blatant lie that is easily seen by looking at my transcript? (I said I played a sport that I never did and then became really good in a sport a year before I really did) I don't want to come across as being a liar of any kind... I just panicked during the test and had to think of something quickly.

lol? are you kidding me? no man...i wrote about a sister that I never had, and I book that I never read (or even existed). don't take after me

Lol... you are almost expected to make things up. About 90% of kids exaggerate in some way, and about 30% blatantly make something up to fit the prompt. Colleges just care how good the writing is, not whether the anecedotes are true.
