Hi, I sent an activity sheet that is 4 pages long. It expands on material from the Common App and also includes material that I didn’t include. I know that resumes are supposed to be 1-2 pages max, but I feel like 4 pages really provides a comprehensive review of my career. I am a very involved person extracurricularly. To help the adcom, I highlighted all the activities not included in the Common App so they could fly through it faster. was this a right move, or would you suggest to cut it down for the RD round?
IMHO, you’re mistaken if you think all that detail is desired by your readers.

@T26E4 Ok, well I already sent in the app. Would this hurt my chances?? I also highlighted stuff that wasn’t on Common App so they would spend less time trying sort through the different material. a lot of is just like National Honors Society, math Team, TRI-M followed by blurbs, so I would assume they can work through it quickly.
would this be bad?? I hope it doesn’t reduce my likeability.
I would cut it down. There is absolutely no reason why a high school student needs to have a four page resume - even if you are the most involved high school student in the world. One page should be plenty. There is something to be said about a well organized, prioritized, concise resume.
Absolutely cut it down to 1 or at most 2 pages. No admission officer needs or wants that level of detail.
