Something just came to my attention and I think it would benefit all of you if I shared the information. It has to do with sending your SAT scores to colleges.
The point of this thread is that you MUST select colleges to send scores to when you register for your SAT. As you probably know, you get 4 free SAT score reports sent to colleges and you get to pick those 4 colleges when registering for the test. But what if you're registering for the SAT and you don't know where you're applying to college yet? You still should select 4 colleges to send scores to when you register...because once it's one week after the test, you no longer can use the 4 free reports option. You have to pay for every single score report that is sent--meaning College Board charges you 40 extra dollars that you wouldn't have had to pay had you indicated the colleges at the time of registration.
Unfair but that's the reality.
