<p>Hi,</p>
<p>I'm currently applying for a structural engineering masters in the USA. I'm from Ireland and went to University College Dublin in Ireland. I finished my degree in May and got a GPA of 3.83 on a 4.2 scale. This is a first class honors as we call it. I also spent a semester abroad in UC Berkeley and was a research assistant in the Lawrence Berkeley Lab for the summer. I've also got a lot of practical experience. I'm currently working full time with a large structural engineering consultancy in Dublin. I just completed the GRE as well. I only got 159 quantitive, 157 verbal. I messed up the timing of the quantitive on the exam. </p>

<p>How do you rate my chances. Will my quants score for these universities hurt me much. I feel it's the only blemish on my application. Have you any advice on improving my chances</p>
