I got a 2220 SAT score (which is higher than a 33 ACT, so I’ll post this anyway) and got waitlisted at Wash U.

hahah, really? I wasn’t even trying anything, just making a simple statement. You guys are so childish…yet farely intelligent.Hmm.

Maybe so, but not to the same degree as standardized tests. You can’t game 4 years of hard work (i.e. GPA) any more than you can pay God for amazing athletic talent.

And I don’t quite know what you mean by “interesting life experiences.”

Disagreed

2300 and deferred at Williams ED. Some rejections are sure to come, I’ll keep you all posted :).

Ahh. This is pretty depressing. There are many great schools that would probably accept most every student who posted in this forum.

Great scores equal better chance not a for sure in for admission.

2220; how about 770, 740, 710 - that’s not so bad - also math was a super hard curve, only 2 mistakes and BAM - 60 points gone.

got rejected from UCLA, it was expected though, i’m not CA resident…

2330 (800 730 800), deferred from Columbia ED. Rejections are likely to come, so I’ll keep you guys posted. 8]

2290, grades not amazing; waitlisted at Whitman.

^holy nutsack

2290 and a waitlist at Whitman?

***. What is this world coming to?

Is Whitman easy to get in to? I’ve never heard of it

Test scores aren’t everything and I understand why I was rejected.

I am sorry you were rejected and I hope that you are happy with where you ended up.

I have a friend who scored 2390, has around a 10.2/11.0 gpa at my school, was stuco secretary, pretty good extracurriculars, good writer (for the essay), and he got into mit yesterday.

well, guess what olleger? you don’t need a 36 to get into an ivy; i had an “average” score on the ACT (34) and i got into yale. i have heard of unhooked people with 31 ACT scores getting into HYP. the score ranges there are apparently not as high as you think.

2350 and waitlisted at WUSTL.

^ oh wow. Now thats a suprising rejection.

@xrCalico23 Didn’t you get into MIT? I think you’re decision at WUSTL was random lol.

2330 & waitlisted at Quinnipiac. I’m so confused, hahaha.
