<p>I've been told that the common app no longer locks if you're applying early. Can someone confirm this/show me where on the common app site it says this?</p>

<p>As of 10/19 it does not lock. Alternate versions can be created. See instruction page and scroll down to application versions.</p>
<p>My S just sent them out this week (Oct 22). They said it was locked.</p>

<p>Again...When you log on on the left side of the page it says application versions...Click on and follow directions....Very simple.....</p>
