<p>I've been told that the common app no longer locks if you're applying early. Can someone confirm this/show me where on the common app site it says this?</p>

<p>As of 10/19 it does not lock. Alternate versions can be created. See instruction page and scroll down to application versions.</p>

<p>My S just sent them out this week (Oct 22). They said it was locked.</p>

<p>It gets locked. Mine is, but it’s okay for me, since I won’t be changing anything between now and January 1/15.</p>

<p>Again…When you log on on the left side of the page it says application versions…Click on and follow directions…Very simple…</p>
