Common App locked after submission?

<p>Hey,</p>

<p>I ahve a question on common app.</p>

<p>Say i have 5 schools on common app, one of them I apply early.</p>

<p>after I submit the common app w/ supplement to the early school, is the common app info all locked, so that I cant change anything for my RD schools?</p>

<p>I mean, i may wish to change the test scores field (i know it doens't matter for SAT, but it does for ACT or TOEFL) or perhaps add some new honors/awards. </p>

<p>So does it lock down? if it does, is the only way to update my info registering for another account?</p>

<p>Yes, it is locked, but this was a wrong headed policy decision by the CA people. They now realize that, and on Friday they will change the site so you can make copies.</p>

<p>Originally, I had been sent an email that it would lock. However, they would open it once for RD schools if you apply ED.</p>

<p>My son googled "common application October 19" and he got a lot of info showing when they will make the change. check it out for yourself. very helpful.</p>

<p>With this change, will an applicant be able to edit and refine their primary essay after Nov. 1 (EA) and before Dec. 31?</p>

<p>Oh, thank God I may do some changes! Now I can tell the RD schools what I do after the early deadline.</p>

<p>it would probably be wise to wait until they actually announce the change so you see what if any changes in the app will be allowed.</p>
