Improv comedy... impressive EC?

I'll have done Improv Comedy for four years when I apply for college. I'm a junior and I'm already an instructor on the team, and I've devoted a large amount of time to it. I haven't done incredible things with it (there are no national high school improv competitions, to my knowledge), but it's greatly improved my speaking skills, sense of humor, ability to be funny, ability to communicate ideas, etc.

Would an EC like this impress a top-20 college? It seems unique to me (I'm in the only high school improv team in my state), and I have tons of fun doing it.

bump 10char.

It sounds good to me. Anyway, if it is the EC you have it is your job to make it sound impressive.

Alright, thanks! I’ll do my best to make it sound interesting.

Definitely impressive. Anything that shows dedication and distinguishes you is good for top schools

I think it is a great EC. You could also take it further by organizing a fundraiser by doing an improv night at the school. Advertise, charge admission, involve local celebrities, etc. That way you can show leadership, community service commitment, etc.
