Improvement from PSATs to SATs

PSATS
Fr - 191
Soph - 197
Jr - 211

SATS
SAT March of Jr -2120 (+10 from projected, probably thanks to 12 essay)
SAT Oct of Sr - 2230 (+110)

With absolutely no studying. I think you get used to the test + relearn some concepts (math for me) automatically. Study if you want and it'll go up more. I think if I had I could have hit over 2300 since vocab is my issue, but I'm a lazy bum.

204 in 10th
223 in 11th (+190)
2370 superscore by 12th (+140/+330 overall)

The breakdown:

Sophomore PSAT- 204 63cr70ma71wr
Junior PSAT- 223 65cr80ma78wr
Junior SAT- 2250 770/760/720 (76m.c., 7essay)
Senior SAT- 2360 760/800/800 (80m.c., 12 essay)

It's definitely possible to improve. I decided to give SAT lessons (to a disadvantaged student who could not afford better) the summer before retaking in the fall of senior year, and maybe that's what helped me improve. Biggest pieces of advice: CR: learn to speed read, MA: triple-check that you've marked the correct bubbles, read each question carefully, WR: on the essay... apply your BSing skills to fill 2 pages and use bombastically inflated (at the risk of being redundant) vocabulary!

I don't remember my broken down scores, but freshman year I had a 127 (just reading and math combined) and junior year it went to a 138 (ditto). My senior year, I got a 1460 on the SAT (800v 660m). I never took the writing section because I entered college in 2004.

My GRE score went even higher! :D

V 65 -- > 700
M 52 --> 570
W 55 --> 690

I get my Dec. SAT scores tomorrow - hopefully I see a greater increase.

Psat:
