Im very frustrated with myself because i cant seem to raise my score. On my first test i got a 30 and the second time around i got a 31. Critical reading and english arent my issues because i have gotten a 34 on both (not on the same testing date though). I just cant seem to raise my math and science scores to anything higher than a 30, which is strange to me because I am very much a math person and it is my best subject.

Does anyone have any advice for raising math and science scores? My goal is to have a composite of a 33

What school are you looking to get into? At most schools a 31 would be just fine.

My kid got a 31 her first two times as well and was pretty frustrated. She aced it her 3rd and final time and we credit that to taking as many practice tests as possible in the Real ACT book.

For math, try to work mostly on the last 20 problems because those are most difficult. For science, try practicing more and going faster, like reading graphs/data tables better and noticing trends in data…etc.
