Hi, I’m an international student with an IB Diploma and I recently applied to the faculty of applied science, mechanical engineering. However, I was rejected because my results weren’t at the competitive standards and ubc was my top priority. However, I am currently serving my national service and have 1 year and a half, so I am thinking of re applying. Any tips on improving my chances for admission? Would taking the SAT help even with the IB Diploma? Would online courses help?
