improving cr

I'm a junior this year and I've already went through many of the other threads regarding the critical reading section.

I'll be taking the SAT in June.

My question is, if I start reading novels now until the day of the SAT, will it improve my score? If so, is reading 1-2 hours a day enough? Or am i better off studying from vocab list and doing practice tests?

I've recently ordered Mc-Graw Hills 12 Sat Practice tests, are those tests any good in helping me with my score? I've purchased the blue book as well.

If you have time to read, by all means read!

Be sure to make full use of the Blue Book though; reading isn’t the only thing. Words lists will definitely help too!

reading a lot is great, but I’d also use vocab flash cards (there are premade vocab flashcards at the back of the Barron’s) just in case reading doesn’t help you as much as you think
