<p>Surprisingly, my lowest was NOT Critical reading but rather Writing. The SAT is my biggest weakness. I'm top 10 in my class, an officer in many academic clubs, and one of the leaders of a statewide religious organization, yet my SAT score brands me as average at best.</p>
<p>My breakdown is Math: 670 Reading: 600 Writing: 520</p>
<p>Is there a way to improve my writing (or the others) so it at least brings my SAT score above 2000?</p>
<p>I find writing to very tricky for me. While my other two scores remain relatively constant, my writing score can be either really good or just plain average :(</p>
<p>Anyways, what I did was read silverturtle’s grammar guide, and sparknotes’ online writing guide. The latter has a good list of typical SAT grammar mistakes. Remember the most common grammar errors, know your grammar rules, and then just simply practice. Best of Luck!</p>
