Hello, how is IMSA?

Not a lot of replies at all, huh.

wow this chat is dead

Hi! I’m a current IMSA junior. I don’t know too much about chancing, but I’m willing to answer questions about academics, res life, and life at imsa in general!

I was wondering my chances of getting accepted

I would say @tiredandhangry your chances seem very high, I would not stress about getting in, however @shield8788 your chances seem very high as well, but to secure a spot I suggest to try and bring up the math into the 700’s, I got in with a 690, but I had a lot of out of school awards and activities. I believe in both of you!!!

I’m wondering what my chances are:

When I visited IMSA, an admissions counselor said that they didn’t look at weighted GPA, but they will see that you took a Honors / AP class and acknowledge that.

@just_try more than mine lmaoo

@BhattM when I visited they said the average SAT for accepted applicants for class of 2020 was 685 for math, and 648 for reading and writing, but that category is also combined with GPA, plus they look at all parts of the application, so try to get the scores up, but don’t stress

@just_try thank you, would you mind linking the website please?
