Hey,
I was wondering if I apply for Arts & Sciences for either economics or computer science and after a few terms decide to switch to computer engineering (transfer to COE) would it really be possible?

Need a flexible school for a person interested in too many things.

Thanks

It’s really difficult to switch into engineering after a year, that’s why COE barely takes any transfer [internal & external] people. I’d say apply to COE and you can more easily switch to A&S if you want after the first year, although that’s a bit tricky as well…

It’s a fairly easy process as long as you aren’t doing poorly academically. I don’t know much about the CS programs, but if you start CS in CAS, I imagine it’s likely possible to take a healthy sample of CoE classes without transferring to the major itself.
