I've been browsing this forum for a few weeks now and I'd like to thank you all for the lovely discussions I've been able to read. They've helped me immensely. But I have a very important decision to make regarding taking APs. I'm a Canadian high school student and have been taking the PreAP program for the last two years. I'm in grade 12 this year and I'll be taking some AP exams this year but there have been a few problems that I would like some help with. I moved to another school at the start of the new school year, and I wasn't offered any AP classes, so I moved back in order to my original school so I could take them. However, I have another problem. I may move back next semester due to family and that will affect the courses I'm taking. I'm taking Chem Ap and Physics B/Calculus AB all year long on alternating days here. If I move, I'll only be taking semester long courses, meaning I'd have to redo some of my courses' units and such. Or, I could take just Social and Chem AP this semester, and use my spare time to do self-study a few APs that I've wanted to do, and in the next semester, take Physics B, Calculus AB and English Lit and self-study Macro, Micro and AP Euro and take the exams at the end of the year. I'm afraid that if I have too much spare time this semester and have almost none next semester, I may find it difficult to excel on the courses. I would like some advice regarding this. I realize this is a big favor to ask as most of you aren't International students so it might be a bit hard to understand my predicament but I would appreciate any help that you all would be able to provide :). Thank you very much for reading this and I hope you all have a great day!
