[Please help!] AP confusion

Hello everyone,

I'm in my junior year at a Canadian high school and I'm planning to take a few AP courses since I plan to study in the States. However, I just checked the test dates and the tests are only offered in May... So does that mean I'll have to take them at the end of my junior year otherwise the universities won't see my AP scores?

I don't have a lot of time left, and I'm not even taking that many senior courses :( Is it possible for a student to take AP courses even if they're not taking the senior classes?

I'm currently taking Grade 12 chemistry, Higher Functions, and Data Management(Stats). I've taken grade 11 physics and am taking grade 11 biology. Any suggestions for what courses I should work on(I want to go into life sciences in university)?

Thank you all so, so much for reading this and giving me advice! I really appreciate it! :)

The AP tests are only offered in May, so yes you will have to take them then if you want colleges to see them. I’m fairly certain that you are allowed to take an AP tests without taking a class.

Thanks for the reply
I’m trying to go for AP stats, music theory(I’ve studied theory in the past), and perhaps psych and environmental science. How much commitment do you think I’ll need?
