In-n-out

Do you think that having a bachelors in BOTH Animal Science and Studio art might look good for Vet Schools? Just something that maybe out of the ordinary?

cfsaetern: yea as far as I can see it, diversity and interesting majors/experience is a real positive in Vet School admissions. Hope me taking Russian helps somehow too xD

I remember when i went to my brothers "White Coat Ceremony" for med school they talked ALOT about how they liked unique applicants. There were Art history, Music, and other out of the ordinary bio related majors who were accepted.

That's true. I hate blaming our principal and his administration, but a lot of teachers at my school have expressed concerns about awful communication. I'm president of a club on campus (we're more representative of the student body than ASB) and I've been trying to contact him for months about improving our bathroom conditions because right now, they are horrendous. He basically encouraged our efforts to improve our campus without backing us in any other way, so I'm taking this health concern to our district. -.-

what club egg?

Weirdhobo my d's roomie last year was a DJ. I'm not sure about requests, but I imagine it is up to the individual DJ's. This should interest you:

Youth Action Committee. It's a club we made up at our school a couple years ago. :] We were successful in extending our passing periods...until our principal campaigned to change our entire schedule. -.- He wants to work his way up to block scheduling.

Lol...o man that's pretty bad if the student body has to take action for school's welfare :S Hope the district contact works better than it did with the Principal.

oo ty collegemom :D

oh. I LOVE block scheduling.

Our school was block schedule for a while. The math, foreign language, and science teachers hated it.

I loved the free period xD

Anyone in Key Club? LOL..

I am lol...but I feel that many of the members slack when they committed to actually going to an event which really bothers me.

Yeah, all the seniors are glad we're graduating this year because it seems like our school is falling apart. I mean, we have a great faculty and the school itself has a good reputation for being strong in academics, but I don't know what's going on with our budget crisis. Yeah, I feel bad though because our principal is going to have to save-face in front of district officials if I confront them about the issue. sigh

Edit: cfsaetern, what about 1 semester classes like Gov/Econ? And doesn't block scheduling make it more difficult for APs in general?

And wow, seriously, you guys are keeping me up lol. I need to head to bed. I have to finish HOD tomorrow so I'll be reading like all day because it takes me forever to get through a paragraph.

agreed. i'm the president of our home club. key club has been so stressful; more so then anything else school related.

DCON is soon...who's going?

I find it amusing. The largest thread on the UCD section started off talking about In n Out.
