Anyone read it yet? (I know it's new, just published Oct 2007)

My son received it today as a gift from a friend (USMMA graduate) who recommended that "if he doesn't read the whole book, at least read the first chapter, it may sway his decision toward KP"".

I got the book, and have not read it, but looked through it. And yes, your son should read it because KP has so many more opportunities available to its grads. So make sure he reads the book!

Bought the book for my son for Christmas. He's not much of a reader but I thought it would be a nice momento for him to keep through the years that he can look through and reflect on. Will attempt to read it myself too.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through it, and have to reiterate Luigi59's statement about reading the first chapter! That chapter tells it all about the opportunities after you graduate from KP. Should be required reading for anyone thinking about the Academy!

I'm finding the book very readable, haven't been bored at all. Highly recommend it!

My husband, who is a historian, Navy Captain, just started reading it and recommends it highly. I keep hearing, while we are both reading at night, "listen to this!" I am next to read it but I may not have to with all his reading aloud to me! :o)
