We have lived in North Carolina for 18 years. Our daughter is a rising sophomore and will be renting an apartment as of next month to continue her education. My husband, however is facing a work transfer in Tennessee. If this happens we will both relocate to Tennessee with our younger son in December. Filling out the fafsa in january will still reflect us in NC for basically the entire 2014 year so she should be fine for next years status but after that (which will basically be when we submit her status for her senior year, will she still be eligible for instate tuition or will our moving force us to pay out of state tuition?? Even though she will have rented an apartment in NC for all of 2014 and 2015 by then??
