Is a 3.6 UW and 4.4 weighted good enough for UNC?
My SAT score is a 2100 so maybe that'll offset it?

I know it also depends on extracurriculars and such but, trust me, I have a lot of good extracurriculars. I just want to know where I stand GPA wise. And I'm in the top 12% by the way :( my school is really competitive, being from Wake County D:

Being from Wake County, I think you’re chances are a little lower (because of competition) than if you were from a smaller county. They don’t want their entire Freshman class to be from Wake County. Your SAT scores are good, but your UW GPA might be a little low. I would still apply, as you never know what might happen. Best of luck to you!

DS is home schooled. We do not weight or unweight grades; in fact, we don’t really give conventional grades. Will this hurt us?

stats:

2100 SAT (1390 CR & Math)
Subject SATs: 790 Math II; 700 Physics
(Took Latin SAT on Dec. 4; will learn score on 12/21)
National Merit Semifinalist
Lives in a teeny rural community in Stokes County
Super-rigorous home-school curriculum, including Latin IV and Greek III
Not too many ECs…very outdoorsy; lots of hiking…also youth group

@LadyDianeski - I think you will be fine. Most colleges want to see how well home-schoolers do on tests, and it seems that your DS has done well in that regard and is in good shape.
