Okay, I'm self studying AP Biology right now. When doing a FRQ from Cliffs, I write all the information (sometimes more) as in the answer of the book. The problem is that I write in a storm way, so I don't group the answer by category and just keep writing like crazy. I read that the answer has to be fairly organized and it is recommended that I underline the main idea of each thing. Is that truly necessary? If I write only one or two large paragraphs that have all of the info, would I lose marks for not organizing them? Thanks in advance! :)

Bump…

Follow the format of these sample response frq’s.

At least organize each part. E.g. respond to part A of the question with an “A)” separator on your paper.

Example:

A) Response to A here

B) Response to B here.

Don’t lump multiple parts of a question into a single paragraph/section. You’ll probably be fine answering them out of order, if you wanted.
