I didnt take winter session because our school is on semester and it was optional. Should I write how I spent my time studying for an entrance exam for General Chemistry and say how I had to help my brother move to his new house?

And for the summer section, should I just put classes that I was going to take this semester but couldn't. Such as another English course. Or should I write in the comment box stating that I dont know what courses my school offers and I would take any courses that is required before transferring...?

no reason to say anything about winter session at all, and what you want to put is well something they dont need to read.

For summer you put your planned courses- doesnt have to be exact, just whatever you have to take.

well.... they will ask me to put something in the comment box if i dont put anything in the course listings.

I put "not applicable" as the application asks for my summer semester. I think the same should apply for winter.

hmm, mine doesnt have that? there's just a checkbox "i have no coursework for this term"

Write "not applicable" in the box.

Right, thats what i did but i think i just put n/a in the UCLA app two years ago.... no explanation is needed for that

No one expects you to take winter session, it is there b/c some colleges are on quarter system, so they have a legitamate term instead of that 4 weeker interssesion the semester system has.
