In the "Details" section of the Activities section of the Common Application, is it best to write details in complete sentences? Such as:

"I founded this organization at school and served as president for its first two years."

Or is it best to write it as:

"Founded at school and served as president for first two years"?

Sorry, I am just really confused, and it does not specify as to how to write it (in complete sentences or not)!

The character limit is so short that abbreviations and choppy language is necessary for most applicants. If you have room for complete sentences throughout the Activities section, that’s fine, but if not, you will be in the majority of applicants.

It is almost impossible to put a complete sentence with the details of the activity. Just having keywords is fine.

Right? It is unbelievable - there is so little space to write everything we want to write about! Thanks niceday and billcsho.

Plus writing it shortened like that is the language that is usually used on resumes and this is sorta like a resume.
