In the Northeast any wonderful non audition safety's

Has anyone heard from Arcadia yet?

@tpcrd66 I just saw this. Arcadia is a small liberal arts college in the Philly suburbs I visited it with my daughter. She loved the study abroad program they have and they are also about growing their theater program.

I also remember last year someone had posted about St Joseph’s Univ outside of philly. They have a BA in theatre/film with an MT concentration or track. Might be worth checking out.

It’s an auditioned theatre program, but I’d suggest VCU ARTs - Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. The theatre program starts as a BA, but can be done as a BFA starting junior year and does two musicals a year. The Gen Ed requirements are pretty light and the school itself isn’t a hard academic acceptance. They have rolling admission and at least one audition date in November/December. It’s not advertised at all, but they have the students sing a little acappella to assess the vocals. They say that they don’t accept students until the end of auditions, but if they really like you, they kind of do. And the kind of student they might really like is a musical theatre kid open to a theatre program - especially a kid from out of state.
